The production process consists of several key stages: dough kneading, portioning, intermediate proofing, shaping, baking, cooling, stacking, counting, and packaging. The machine can produce tortillas in a variety of sizes, including 15cm, 18cm, 20cm, 22cm, 25cm, 30cm, and 33cm. By adjusting machine parameters, the dough weight can be modified to accommodate different customer requirements.
With an automation level reaching up to 95%, the system features an intelligent control platform, a central processing unit, an intuitive human-machine interface, and high-precision sensors. The process starts with mixing large batches of dough, which are then portioned into medium-sized pieces. These are further divided into smaller dough balls of precise weight before undergoing intermediate fermentation for 10-15 minutes. After fermentation, the dough is transferred via conveyor belt to the hot pressing machine for baking. Once baked, the tortillas are automatically counted and stacked in sets of 6 or 10, depending on production settings, before being transported to the packaging stage. The system seamlessly integrates with both flow pack and zipper bag packaging machines and can be customized according to specific customer needs.
